The browser still holds tabs, documents, search intent, apps, authentication and much of the user’s daily knowledge work. That makes it uniquely valuable as an AI operating surface. Whoever becomes useful there may gain unusually strong context and retention advantages.

That is why the AI browser race is not a cosmetic battle. It is a contest over where memory, workflow orchestration and agent execution will live in everyday work.
