Robotics is not a near-term mass market on the same timeline as software copilots, but it may end up being one of the deepest AI platform opportunities. The reason is simple: once AI controls physical systems, the value of world modeling, task planning and robust safety rises dramatically.
That makes robotics a forcing function for better evaluation, stronger simulation tooling and more grounded learning loops. It is one of the places where hype has to meet physics.
